Homeowners are consistently underestimate remodeling projects and don't know how to budget for them.
Studies found 78% of homeowners that were surveyed by "Remodel.com" underestimated their remodel or addition. This is primarily due to contractors underestimating labor to get the job. Survey shows that also homeowners budget was not met because of unclear bids (24%), lack of communication (23%) lack of experience (19%).
